Having already sold over 10 million copies in previous critically acclaimed outings,
Rayman has a heritage to be proud of. Rayman M proves he's going from strength to strength.
After "Cosmic Family" and "Pod2" i had the chance to compose and play
the music score for Ubisoft "Rayman M", the follow up of Rayman 2. It's
a completely new and innovative multiplayer version that will be
released November 2001 primarly for the Sony PS2. Those of you
interested in composing for video games will soon find the intro on-line
on my pages and a lot of infos and tips concerning the "making-off". It
was a good opportinity for me to use all my toys and an opportunity to
mix live playing and computer based sequencing, low tech and high tech,
hardware and software. The soundtrack features various styles, World,
Pop as well as Rock and Techno and it was fun to do.
CRITICS :
GAMESDOMAIN (uk 2002)
coupling the feast of the eyes is a soundtrack that
is reminiscent of some of the extravagant delights heard in
Squaresoft's legendary Chrono Trigger on the SNES.
there are one or two tunes in Rayman M which
sound like they could have been loosely related, such is their quality.
FUTUREGAMEZ
superb graphics, wonderful orchestral music and, most importantly, totally
addicitve and enjoyable gameplay combined to make it the best platform game on any system in year.
It's a true "must have" game on the Playstation 2.
VIDEOGAMEREVIEW
Rayman has the sweetest sound and plays some sad, cool, funky, groovy, hip, kind, sweet, happy music.
Always the levels fit to their music, and the sounds perfectly match to Rayman's moves.
