After having played at the Midem 2003, the Gaïa Band played Alan Simon's project songs plus all the guests major hits in Nice, Geneva, Lausanne and Zurich.
The Zurich event was part of the "Art on Ice" ice skating show featuring world class ice skaters like Evgeny Plushenko and Supertramp members, Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues (it was really something to back him in "Nights in white satin", Jeremy Spencer (the inspired slide master from Fleetwood Mac) . We had the exceptional pleasure to participate and play with Roger Hodgson for this long awaited reunion on stage with his fellow John Helliwell. Playing 5 mega Supertramp hits with the two guys who made the Supertramp sound was a real treat. Barclay James Harvest shared the bill too, we had a lot of fun with them and felt sorry to hear the passing of Mel Pritcharsd two days later.
The after shows were the occasion of memorable jams sessions, and we celebrated Alan simon Gaïa's Gold record.
