After having recorded a few thousands sessions as a studio musician i got more deeply involved in the making of a record when singers staretd to ask me to write arrangements and help them to produce their songs.
It was the opportunity to understand "what" makes a great singer and a great song from the inside. "Some have it , some don't." :-) I realized that when these singers started to sing in place of the demo vocals that i had previously recorded as a scratch demo lead vocal part. Just singing in tune doesn t make a singer. Plus at times we're lucky and we get gold ot platinum records that look great on a recording studio walls. So thank you Philippe Lavil, Patricia Kaas.....
